Chief Barrister , the Okpe House of Assembly Hopeful and Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agage, has hosted friends and well-wishers.

The event, which took place at his country home in Orerokpe, the headquarters of Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, provides an opportunity for friends and well-wishers to dine and wine, unite party members and express gratitude to God.

Speaking at the event, Barrister thanked everyone for their kindness, love, and support towards him. He also encourages everyone to support Senator Ovie Omo-Agage, his principal, who is currently running for the Delta State Governorship Election come 2023.
He expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the gift of life and made his intention to run for the Okpe House of Assembly in 2023 known to those present.
The event was attended by distinguished personalities, the likes of Hon. Chief Julius Okpoko, former Minority Leader, Delta State House of Assembly, Barr. Ben Etanabene, Okpe, Sapele, and Uvwie House of Representatives Hopeful.

Among others are Barrister Victor Anne, Chief Flag Odiete, Hon. Dennis Okorogben, Doctor Hermia Assistant State Women Leader, Professor David Ejenobo and Adams Anthony.
Many legislative aides to Senator Ovie Omo-Agage were in attendance. They include; Goodluck Eberekpe, Samuel Erasers, Ediri London, and Victor Onoge.
Meanwhile, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has disclosed its readiness to go ahead with its national convention in February 2022.
The National Chairman, Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the party and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, stated this Saturday in Abuja.

In the statement, which was signed by the National Secretary of the CECPC, Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe also berated the Dr. Iyiorcha Ayu-led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for having nothing to offer Nigerians.
On the planned national convention of the party, Gov. Buni said, “In fulfillment of the National Executive Committee NEC mandate, CECPC in 2021 successfully conducted ward, local government, and state congresses to elect substantial party executives.
