A former Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Cairo Ojougboh has requested the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ifeanyi Okowa to withdraw from the race days earlier than the election. According to him, it was higher for Governor Okowa not to search reelection to keep away from the embarrassing defeat awaiting him on this Saturday’s governorship election within the state.

Ojougboh, who’s a kinsman of Okowa, said this on Monday whereas talking with newsmen in Asaba throughout President Muhammadu Buhari’s ‘thank you visit’ and a city corridor assembly with conventional rulers within the state on the PTI Conference Centre, Effurun, Uvwie LGA of Delta State.
