Recall that the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs had shortlisted 550,000 applications for the Npower Batch C Stream 1 programme using the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), with 50,000 being screened out of the shortlisted Stream 1 applicants. After that, another 500,000 applications will be shortlisted for Stream 2, bringing the total number of applicants to one million. To advance to the final selection round, all shortlisted applicants must enrol their biometric data, which is followed by physical verification.
Before final shortlisting and deployment, all of the 550,000 successful shortlisted applicants must come in person and submit necessary documents.
Please be aware that failing to appear for physical screening will result in disqualification and the termination of your participation in the N-Power program.
Date and location of the Npower NASIMS physical verification
Physical verification is expected to start on June 25, 2021. The location is nationwide, encompassing all local administrations.
Physical verification screening will take place in all of Nigeria’s 774,000 Local Government Secretariats.
How will the physical screening be carried out?
The names of shortlisted candidates will be sent to the States Social Investment Program (N-SIP) offices by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs via NASIMS.
Shortlisted candidates’ documents must be checked by N-SIP focal persons before they can be registered as N-Power recipients. Physical verification will take place in all of Nigeria’s local government secretariats.
