Ejes Gist News recalls that the presiding judge, Justice Benson Anya had during the hearing last year ordered security agents to stop harassing those coming to the court during the hearing of Kanu’s suit.

He accused the security operatives of creating unnecessary tension by their actions.

Today at the court ahead of the commencement of the suit hearing and judgement by the court judge, lawyers and various stakeholders including Kanu’s Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor were sighted ready for the next declaration.

Recall that during the court sitting on Tuesday, the new lead counsel to the IPOB leader, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), had complained that the DSS is still treating his client with disdain in its custody.

According to the Senior Advocate of Nigeria, the IPOB leader is being mistreated by DSS agents and is being held in solitary confinement by the secret police.

In response to the complaints, Justice Nyako ordered the DSS to allow Kanu to change his cloth from his first arraignment in June 2021.

She stated that during his next appearance on Wednesday (Wednesday), the Biafra agitator should not wear the Fendi outfit, reiterating her previous order that Kanu be allowed to be as comfortable as possible.

Kanu is to be allowed to bathe whenever he wants, change his clothes, eat properly, and practice his faith, according to Justice Nyako.

“I don’t want to see him dressed like this ever again.” It’s almost off-white in color. Also, make sure he has access to exercise,” she advised.
