Nigerian Woman Seeks to Empower Young Man Beaten to Pulp for Stealing Clothes in Delta
A young man who was beaten to pulp in Delta state for alleged theft was found after a woman showed interest in empowering him.
It was recorded that last week, the young man identified as Stanley Kolokolo stole clothes from a store located on the cemetery road in Sapele.
He was caught by the shop owner and other people and beaten mercilessly. He claimed during interrogation that some street boys had sent him to steal clothes for them.
Kate Keke, a Facebook user, was moved and decided to assist him after the video of the boy in a pathetic condition after the beating he received was posted online.
“Sometimes our situation leads us to do things that are not right. We would like to empower him. Please help us get this boy.” she said.
Finally, Sapele Times located the boy and shared his photo on Facebook yesterday.
