The Nigerian Navy, on Wednesday, has announced the commencement of online recruitment.

Nigerian Navy to recruit more Nigerians to boost its ongoing internal security and maritime operations across the country.

The Nigerian Navy Recruitment was part of Vice Adm. Awwal Gambo, the Chief of Naval Staff’s plans to provide the necessary manpower for the naval operations, according to Commodore Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan, the Nigerian Navy’s Director of Information.

In order to increase its human resources on an annual basis, the Nigerian Navy has made recruitment and engagement of men and women a top priority.

According to Ayo-Vaughan, recruiting for the service is done based on the resources that are available, and to ensure that only the best candidates are hired, infrastructure, physical, medical, academic, and mental checks are also done.

He stated that online registration for the Batch 34 recruitment will begin on August 7 and end on September 7 2022.

Requirements for Nigerian Navy Recruitment

“Applicants must have a minimum of five credits earned over no more than two sittings in English and mathematics, which are required courses in the WASSCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB, and their certificate must not be older than six years as of the application date.

By January 2023, applicants with school certificates must be between the ages of 18 and 22; applicants with higher qualifications must be between the ages of 18 and 26. This was also stated by Ayo-Vaughan.

The more advanced degrees include NCE, OND, and Diploma; registered nurses and midwives; drivers and mechanics; and athletes and athletes.
