Nigerian man arrested in India for allegedly strolling in ‘semi-undressed’ state

In Bengaluru, Karnataka, police authorities apprehended a Nigerian man who was allegedly found strolling in a “semi-undressed” state”, Ejes Gist Newspaper reports.

On Monday, Sampigehalli police detained a man named James, 33, of Hennur Cross, Bengaluru, and took him into custody for further investigation.

The culprit was seen walking around Shivaram Karanth Layout Park in a “nearly nude state, causing shame to ladies, children, and adults,” according to police.

He was later apprehended by the police and taken to a hospital with injuries to his body.

According to local media, police constable Srinivasmurthy has filed a case against him.

According to the police, the accused appeared to be suffering from mental illness and was refusing to cooperate with the investigation.
