Aliyu, speaking on Rave FM’s “Frank Talk” radio talk show, stated one of Igboho’s brothers was the one bundled aboard the jet travelling to Germany before he was detained, not Sunday.

“As of today (Wednesday), Sunday Igboho remains in police custody in the Benin Republic, specifically in Cotonou,” he said.

“While they were fighting with the brother, he was bundled back into the plane heading to Germany; he was the one in Germany now, not Igboho.

“He was already on his way to Germany with his wife on a jet from Cotonou, and his brother was also on board. Someone pointed him out as a wanted individual.

“He was brought down with his wife and brother, and there was a fight because he was supposed to be transported to Nigeria by a standby helicopter,”.

“However,  the wife and the brother put up a fight and started shouting at the airport, which attracted some other Yoruba indigenes and they came to their rescue.”
