Nigeria Immigration Recruitment Shortlisted Candidates 2021

The Nigeria (NIS) has announced the start of its recruitment process.

The Civil Defense, Correctional Fire, and Immigration Services Board approved the start of the NIS 2019/2020 recruitment exercise in a press release on Monday.

According to a press release signed by Aisha Rufai, Director/Secretary of the CDCFIB, out of the 45,323 people who took the Computer-Based Test.

The board has chosen 6,105 people to attend the final screening of qualifications and physical fitness.

Today, the shortlisted candidates will receive text and email invitations to the screening.

Applicants are advised to search the NIS’s official website for their names and screening details, including exam position and recruitment guidelines.

Applicants who have been chosen should print their invitation slips, which will be used to admit them to the screening location.

According to the press release, the screening will begin on May 24, 2021, and there will be no charge.

Applicants are also encouraged to file any complaints and reports with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Crimes Commission or the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIS).


Rufai also emphasised that applicants whose names do not appear on the website should avoid going to the screening locations.

Shortlisted Candidates for Aptitude Test 2021

Candidates who applied for NIS should visit to for Application Shortlist Confirmation

Candidates will not have access to any centre or session other than that allotted via email addresses and phone numbers.

Therefore, candidates are to note the specific sessions and time for the examination as stated in the notification message for strict compliance.

All candidates are to come alone and bring the following:

  • Photocopy of Online Application Reference Form and any other bona fide form of ID with very clear holder’s picture
  • Face Mask (mandatory)
