NECO shifts 2022 National Common Entrance
NECO shifts 2022 National Common Entrance Examination, says the registration of candidates will continue till the new date of the examination.
The 2022 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for admission to Federal Unity Colleges has been shifted by the National Examinations Council (NECO) from April 23 to May 7.
The examination organisation is taking this measure to allow states with low candidate registration to register their applicants for the exam.

This information was contained in a statement released by NECO’s Head of Information and Public Relations Division, Mr Azeez Sani, on Wednesday and made accessible to journalists in Abuja.
What a NECO spokesman has to say
Sani stated in his statement that candidates will continue to register until the new exam date is set.
“All candidates, parents, guardians, and other relevant stakeholders are therefore urged to take note of the new examination date,” he stated.
“Candidates will be able to register until the new examination date is set.

“Candidates, parents, and guardians are encouraged to download the new examination schedule from the council’s website, www.neco.gov.ng.”
What you need to know
This isn’t the first time NECO has changed the date of its examination.
Remember that NECO delayed the 2021 National Common Entrance Examination into the Federal Unity Colleges from May 29 to June 5 in May 2021 in order to allow states with low registration candidates to register candidates for the examination.
