The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has filed an eight-count charge against Abba Kyari, a suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, and six others, accusing them of dealing in 17.55 kilogrammes of cocaine, among other things.

ACP Sunday J. Ubua, ASP Bawa James, Inspector Simon Agirgba, Inspector John Nuhu, Chibunna Patrick Umeibe, and Emeka Alphonsus Ezenwanne are named with Kyari in the charge marked: FHC/ABJ/CR/57/2022.

The charge was brought before Abuja’s Federal High Court.
