We Can’t Investigate Lawmakers Indicted
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, Senator Ayo Akinyelure, says his panel won’t be investigating Senators indicted within the alleged contract rip-off on the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
He made this known while chatting with reporters in Abuja over the weekend. Akinyelure famous that the NDDC Forensic Audit Committee refused to offer related details that might help his committee in investigating lawmakers indicted by the agency to have collected multi-billion naira contracts with out executing them.

The Senator additionally stated the probe of a recent petition towards the Managing Director of the NDDC, Prof Daniel Pondei, would start in September when the National Assembly resumes its present annual recess.
