MTN logo has been rebranded from a telecom company to a technology company.

MTN, Africa’s largest telecom company, is planning a major rebranding on February 27th, which will include a new logo and the replacement of its previous catchphrase, “Everywhere you go,” with “Y’ello.”

The new MTN logo is already visible outside MTN’s headquarters on the N1 freeway.

MTN’s iconic white, yellow, and red lettering on a blue oval has been replaced by a more streamlined blue on yellow logo.

On a yellow background, the letters “MTN” are written in block letters with a blue outline around them.

“Y’ello,” written in stylized white letters on the same yellow background, says it all.

While the rebranding is being implemented outside of MTN’s Johannesburg headquarters, it will be done across the board.

MTN’s new look, according to Nompilo Morafo, chief sustainability and corporate affairs officer, is in line with the company’s transition from a telecommunications to a technology company.
