Temitope Balogun Joshua commonly referred to as T. B. Joshua, was a Nigerian charismatic pastor, televangelist and philanthropist. He was the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, a Christian megachurch that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos.
He passed away at the age of 57 on the 5th Of June 2021.
In 1990, TB Joshua married Evelyn Joshua, with whom he had two Beautiful Daughters and Son. His first daughter Serah is a lawyer by profession and married a South African last year.
Second Daughter Promise Joshua studied International Relations and Politics at the same higher learning institution, she is also a musician.
Joshua was well-known in Africa and Latin America, as well as on social media, where he had 3,500,000 Facebook admirers.
Before it was suspended, his YouTube channel, Emmanuel TV, had over 1,000,000 followers and was the world’s most viewed Christian ministry on the internet. He’s been dubbed the “Oprah of Evangelism” and the “Most Popular Pastor on YouTube.”

He received numerous honours, including the Nigerian government’s Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) in 2008[9] and being named Yoruba Man of the Decade by Pan-Yoruba media source Irohin-Odua. Pan-African periodicals The Africa Report and New African Magazine named him one of Africa’s 50 most influential persons.

According to Forbes, Joshua was Nigeria’s third-richest pastor in 2011, though the church quickly refuted the report in a statement. He was well-known for being controversial, and the government of Cameroon even placed him on a “blacklist” in 2010.
