(A) Qualifications and Requirements for Academic Positions
The following are the {qualifications} and different necessities for the tutorial positions.

(h) Senior Librarian (CONUASS 4): Candidates should be holders of Bachelors’, Masters’ and Ph. d. levels in Library & Information Science from acknowledged Universities and will need to have been on the rank of Librarian-I within the University system with at least two (2) years cognate working expertise. Candidates will need to have proof of at least eight (8) scholarly publications in realized journals in University and apex analysis/coaching institutes. Candidates should be members of NLA and registered with LRCN. Candidates will need to have proof of NYSC discharge or exemption certificates.

(i) Librarian-I (CONUASS 3): Candidates should be holders of Bachelors’ and Masters’ levels in Library & Information Science from acknowledged Universities and will need to have been on the rank of Librarian-II within the University system with at least Three years cognate working expertise. Candidates should even have proof of at least 5 (5) scholarly publications in realized journals in University and apex analysis/coaching institutes (or three journal publications and participation in 4 (4) skilled tasks). Candidates should be members of NLA and registered with LRCN. Candidates will need to have proof of NYSC discharge or exemption certificates.

(j) Librarian-II (CONUASS 2): Candidates should be holders of related Bachelors’ and Masters’ levels in Library & Information Science from acknowledged Universities. Candidates with Ph. d. levels in Library & Information Science might be an added benefit.
