52″ Rolando net the ball, is a goal for Man United

44. Fernande Is  A Goal for Man United

34 mins: Much better from Fernandes, through to Telles and it cuts Arsenal open. He has time to look up and play it into the box, but Arsenal gets back well to stop it from getting to Ronaldo.

Fernandes then goes down under a challenge from White… no penalty.

32 mins: Tavares goes down, after slipping and then runs into Dalot’s arm. Arsenal man stays down, and United are understandably in no mood to kick the ball out after the incident for the goal.

Maguire with a great diagonal pass, but Fernandes’ through ball is straight out of play.

30 mins: Maguire picks it up 30 yards out, and the fans urge him to shoot. He does, and it’s miles over the bar.

United captain is blaming the ball. Not sure that was the biggest issue there.

28 mins: Arsenal look to break from the corner, and they have the numbers. Aubameyang maybe holds on to for it a bit too long, and when he tries to pass it on to Tavares, Dalot comes sliding in.

27 mins: United fans screaming at their team to get it forward. Fernandes puts it through inside Tavares, but the left-back gets there ahead of Dalot to concede the corner.

Lindelof sends a looping flick towards the goal, and Ramsdale has to tip it over.

25 mins: Ramsdale scuffs his clearance, but gets away with it as it runs through to Odegaard. Tomiyasu then wins a free-kick, much to the frustration of the United players.

23 mins: United is very much on top since the goal, Arsenal struggling to get going again.

Ronaldo flicks it across to Dalot, who brings it into the box and pulls it back, but the Gunners get it clear. Pressure building though.

21 mins: Ronaldo sets up for the big bicycle kick, but White gets a crucial flick on it to take it out of his path.

13. Smith Rowe Net the ball is a Goal for Arsenal.

Match Kickoff

vs Arsenal – While Michael Carrick will be in the United dugout, interim manager Ralf Rangnick will be in the stands cheering on his new club as they take on Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Carrick has steadied the ship since the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, beating Villarreal and then drawing with Chelsea, and will be looking to end his brief tenure on a high note. United would move within three points of the top four with a win.

Arsenal will be hoping to replicate their best form in a big game, something they have struggled with at times this season. Mikel Arteta’s team has been on a roll lately, and a win tonight would put them in fourth place, and heavy defeats on the road against Man City and, more recently, Liverpool will make Arsenal eager to make a statement.

Last season, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s penalty gave the visitors a 1-0 victory at Old Trafford.

Arsenal Break 14 Years Wait to Beat Manchester United At Old Trafford

Arsenal has not lost to United at home or away in the last six meetings between the two teams. The two teams’ most recent meeting, which took place in January 2021 at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, ended in a scoreless draw. A late Marouane Fellaini goal gave United their last victory over Arsenal, which came in the Premier League season of 2018.

Ralf Rangnick has been granted a work permit, but he will be in the stands for today’s match against the Red Bulls. On Friday, he is expected to have his first media interaction, during which he will speak about United’s upcoming match against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to start after appearing in a cameo role against Chelsea last weekend, while the rest of the squad will be hoping to make an impression on the incoming manager by showing their abilities.

Paul Pogba, Edison Cavani, and Raphael Varane are still out injured, as is the rest of the team.

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka was forced off with an injury following his first-half debut against Newcastle last weekend and has not recovered in time to face United. Also absent from the squad are Granit Xhaka and Sead Kolasinac.

Aston Villa defeated Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday. Cristiano Ronaldo reacted to the defeat.

If we believe that something will go against us, we are not going to put our players at risk,” says the coach. Being injured means that he may have to leave the field, and when someone has to leave the field, I believe that he is injured, even though he is willing to continue playing. The duration of the injury can be 24 hours, 72 hours, or even a year. Bukayo is a very willing participant. He’s been preparing for the last two days because he wants to play, so we’ll see how he does on game day.” When asked if Saka would be able to play, Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta responded affirmatively.

Arsenal moves up to the fourth place with a victory. The chances are good that United will take the initiative and run away with all three points, moving them above Wolves and into at least the seventh position, as opposed to the tenth position they currently occupy.
