Man Stabs his Younger Brother to Death in Edo 

Man known as Kadir After allegedly stabbing his younger brother, Suleiman, to death in Auchi, Etsako West Edo State Local Government Area,  is on the run.

The trouble began on Friday morning, the 19th of February, when Suleiman scolded Kadir’s wife for being disrespectful to her mother.

When the altercation took place, Kadir, who was not home, challenged his younger brother for daring to reprimand his wife when he returned. It was said that their mother interfered and resolved the dispute between the two siblings.

The suspect

Kadir was said to have revisited the issue later in the day and her mother stepped in again and calmed the situation again.

It was said that Suleiman put the matter behind him and went about his ordinary business. Kadir later tracked him to where he had gone in the late evening, stabbed him, reportedly, and fled.

On Friday night, Suleiman was rushed to the hospital, where he died on Saturday morning from an injury he received during the attack.

Edo State Police Command spokesman Prince Will Osaigbovo, who confirmed the incident, said the victim died at St. Jude Hospital, where he was rushed to seek medical treatment.
