A lawsuit has been filed in Lagos to stop the Labour Party presidential candidate’s supporters under the auspices of Obidient from organizing their rally in Lagos state.
In Lagos, a lawsuit has been initiated in an effort to prevent a rally planned by Obidients, who are supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Barr. Abdul Mahmud, the 8th President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), stated that the lawsuit is currently being heard by Justice Osiagor of the federal high court in Lagos, and that defendants in the case include Peter Obi, the Labour Party, and some influencers.
Mahmud sent out tweets;
“A lawsuit seeking to prevent an Obidient rally from taking place in Lagos is currently being handled by Justice Osiagor of the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Defendants in this case include Obi, Labour Party and a few other influencers. The SAN for the plaintiffs attempted to amend his application, but the court requested that he give notice to the defendants first. Continued on September 22nd”
