Job Title: Factory Accountant

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • Monitor and control of the sites production costs, waste which if done incorrectly will have a significant and material effect for the site.
  • Assist in providing relevant financial and management information, systems and commercial support to the supply chain factory process.

Main Accountabilities

  • Provides management information to the Factory management (experience in areas of product costing, capex).
  • Identifies cost and asset utilisation improvement opportunities, and co-development of solutions.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of factory results.
  • Budgetary planning and control of factory overheads.
  • Assists in providing Supply Chain factory information required for forecasting and strategic planning to the Finance Team
  • Provides information to Financial Accountant about local suppliers for maintenance and all other financial inputs concerning the factory

Qualifications

  • Second Class Upper Degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • An MBA / M.Sc. In Accounting and professional certifications are added advantages.
  • Minimum of 3 years cognate factory experience.
  • Good experience in data management systems.
  • Attention to detail, commercially aware and ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to execute multi-task priorities efficiently and work productively in a fast paced team-oriented environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Sale and distribution of Agrochemicals
  • Establishing new sale accounts, obtain orders and service existing accounts.
  • Organizing seminars and demonstrations for farmers and other stakeholders on the usage and functions of existing and new agrochemicals.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • The registration of new products and the maintenance of registration of approved products in order to ensure viability of these products in the marketplace.
  • Maintaining good relationship with appropriate authorities to enhance registration of new products and renewal of registration of the approved products.

Main Responsibilities

  • To lead, develop and manage regulatory affairs team.
  • Meet the registration approval dates for products planned for launch each year.
  • To lead the strategic planning and co-ordination of submission of new product registration applications in a timely manner and follow through the application during the evaluation phase to achieve approval in line with planned registrations.
  • Ensure the registrations of new products are achieved before their due dates.
  • Provide adequate training and guidance to the sales team and regulatory associates.

Qualifications

  • Second Class Upper Degree in Agronomy / Soil Science/ Crop Science / Agricultural Biology or a related discipline.
  • Master’s Degree in Agronomy / Soil Science / Crop Science / Agricultural Biology or related professional qualification will be an added advantage.
