Bandits Kidnapped 2 Catholic priest in southern Kaduna in the person of Father John Mark Cheitnum and Fr. Cleopas
A few days prior to their kidnapping, one of the Catholic priest Reverend Father John Mark Cheitnum, who was killed by in Kaduna State, had written about the 2023 election.

On Friday, July 15, 2022, terrorists kidnapped Rev. Father Cheitnum and his colleague, Reverend Father Donatus Cleopas, at the rectory of Christ the King Catholic Church, Yadin Garu in the state’s Lere Local Government Area.
Reverend Father Cleopas managed to escape the kidnappers on Tuesday, July 19, while the priest’s decomposing body was found at a farm in a nearby village.

The murdered priest posted the following on his official Facebook page on July 10, 2022: “Nigerians and The Enemies of Nigeria will contest the 2023 election. Obi-diently Nigerians will WIN.”
