Why Labour Party Campaign Council not yet out – Umeh
Senator Victor Umeh, a leader of the Labour Party (LP), disclosed that the party’s campaign council for its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is being postponed in order to ensure that the best team was mobilised.
This was stated by the former federal legislator on Friday while answering questions from reporters during an Igbo Day celebration in Awka, Anambra State.
He claims that because the party operates differently, Obi can win the 2023 presidential election without the aid of a campaign council.
In the Labour Party, we are cautious, he declared. We do not follow others’ lead in doing things. We look for solutions that would restore Nigeria’s greatness.
