Kano LG chairman dies two days after winning election 

Ali Namadi, the winner of last Saturday’s Kano State Local Government Area Bebeji Local Government Election, is dead.

Ibrahim Tiga, the public relations officer for his campaign, said he died on Tuesday, January 19, at about 1:00 a.m.

It is not yet known the cause of his death. However, Tiga said that the funeral prayers will take place on Tuesday morning in his hometown, Bebeji.
