Why we won’t merge with Peter Obi’s Labour Party – ADC presidential candidate, Kachikwu

Dumebi Kachikwu, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated that Peter Obi, the flag-bearer of the Labour Party (LP), is a part of the “old political order” in Nigeria. Obi is running for the office of president of Nigeria.

This comment was made by Kachikwu during an interview that took place on Tuesday evening with Channels Television.

In his estimation, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) would rather work together with the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the African Action Congress (AAC) in preparation for the presidential election of 2023.

“It is not about small parties; it is about those who have ruled us in the past, like Peter Obi, Atiku, and Asiwaju, and those who have never ruled in the past.” That is the primary distinction.

“With people like SDP and Sowore, we will surely evaluate the possibility of working together.

“Why will not we get together with Peter Obi and the Labour Party and view him as a member of one of the smaller parties?

Simply because of the fact that Peter Obi, Atiku, and Asiwaju all belong to the same political establishment and share no distinguishing characteristics among themselves.

“They are individuals who have previously held offices, as well as more of the same. They do not have anything positive to contribute in any way.
