Tension in Kaduna community as terrorists abduct aid worker
Residents of the Birnin-Gwari area of Kaduna State were filled with dread after Ansaru terrorists kidnapped a Kaduna State Government aid worker on Saturday.
Terrorists are demanding that police officers and other security personnel leave the area.
They are also threatening residents with violent attacks if they do not cooperate with the government.
The exact origins of Ansaru are unknown, but it is known that the group arose from a faction of Boko Haram, an extremist Islamist movement that launched an uprising against Nigeria’s government in 2009.
