Reopening of Tertiary Institutions In Delta State now October 2nd 


Ejes Gist Media can Authoritatively report that the Delta State , led by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has fixed the Reopening of academic activities in all tertiary institutions for October 2nd.

The Reopening of Schools was confirmed by the State Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Patrick Muoboghare.

According to Muoboghare Students will resume in phases in line with the COVID-19 protocol.

Recall that Ejes Gist Media had earlier reported that the state and heads of institutions in the state have agreed to tentatively reopen schools on September 21.

 

It was learned that schools will no longer reopen on the said date due to the ongoing arrangements by the various heads of tertiary institutions for COVID-19 protocols including social distancing for returning students.

According to the news guild lines, heads of institutions including universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education have been directed to work out modalities for their resumption.
