Minister steps down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Senator Godswill Akpabio has resigned to make way for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a presidential candidate in 2023.
While speaking to party faithful and members at the party’s convention in Abuja, Akpabio announced that he will be stepping down in favour of Tinubu.

He urged the president and members of his party to vote for Tinubu, saying he is a great man with a good plan for Nigeria.
“I am ably qualified to be your President,” he says. But I’ve resigned to make way for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

He praised Tinubu as the man with the necessary skills to take the country to new heights.
