Ejes Gist Newspaper reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has revealed why its operatives stormed the Peoples Democratic Party’s ongoing presidential primary elections at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja to monitor delegates’ inducement and financial malpractices.
Wilson Uwujaren, the anti-graft agency’s public relations officer, told Sunday PUNCH on Saturday evening,
“Our operatives are on the ground at the MKO Abiola Stadium for the ongoing PDP presidential primary elections to monitor the process and, in particular, to check for delegates’ inducement and other financial irregularities.”
