Information reaching EJESGIST MEDIA now is that the Nigerian President, President Muhammadu Buhari has found a successor for Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris who is retiring from the service tomorrow.
President Buhari made his choice today from the list of most qualified officers of the Nigeria Police Force that was presented to him.
The chosen one, AIG Abubakar Adamu Mohammed who hails from Lafia in Nasarawa State, according to sources from the Presidency would be announced tomorrow.
It was that AIG Adamu who was brought from the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), but sources at the Presidency said the official announcement would be made tomorrow.
The new IGP was once a deputy commissioner of police in Ekiti State and he had served at the Interpol and the FCIID, Alagbon for some years before he became AIG.
