APGA youth leader killed in Anambra
Mr. Emeka Alaehobi, a late APGA youth leader, was kidnapped from his home in Ukpor, Nnewi South local government area, on Thursday, only to be found dead in a neighbouring community, Utu, yesterday.

According to reports, the kidnappers did not contact his family or demand a ransom until his body was discovered.
Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident, saying a body was discovered in the area on Saturday.
“When our operatives arrived on the scene, the corpse had been removed by some individuals we have yet to identify,” he said. We’ve also established that the body belongs to the APGA youth leader.”
Since violent crimes became rampant in Anambra State, Ukpor, the headquarters of Nnewi South local government area, has remained one of the most troubled areas.

Gunmen had previously attacked the local government headquarters and the local police station in the area.
Utu junction, in the same local government area, has recently become a dumping ground for victims killed in other communities.
