8 House of Assembly members dump APC for PDP
In Kebbi State, a total of 8 legislators have defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The PDP now has 5 members of the National Assembly and 3 members of the state house of Assembly.

According to reports, the mass defection was triggered by the ruling party’s conduct in the state’s primary elections.
The results of the primaries angered a number of key members of the party as well as stakeholders.
