Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Post and course of journal entries to make sure all enterprise transactions are recorded
- Update accounts receivable and subject invoices
- Update monetary knowledge in databases to make sure that info will likely be correct and instantly out there when wanted
- Prepare and submit weekly/month-to-month reports
- Assist senior accountants within the preparation of month-to-month/yearly closings
- Assist with different accounting initiatives
- Update accounts payable and carry out reconciliations
- Assist within the processing of stability sheets, earnings statements and different monetary statements in line with authorized and firm accounting and monetary tips
- Assist with reviewing of bills, payroll data and so on. as assigned
Requirements
- BSc / BA in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with 1-3 years work expertise
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
- Good understanding of accounting and monetary reporting ideas and practices
- Excellent data of MS Office and familiarity with related laptop software program
- Professional Qualifications ( is a plus however not required)
- Proven expertise as a junior accountant
- Excellent organizing skills
