Amidst the unrest, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) responded to reports about inviting Rev Timothy Daluk, the chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), in the Manga local government area. The DHQ, through Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, refuted the claims of potential involvement and maintained military neutrality in the ongoing situation.

The recent surge in violence has prompted the state government to declare a curfew in Mangu local government, yet fresh attacks have been reported within 24 hours. As the region grapples with security challenges, news also surfaced regarding a fire incident at Ahmed Musa’s multimillion-naira event centre in Karji, Chikun local government area of Kaduna state. Though the fire started near the event centre, quick actions by neighbors reportedly prevented extensive damage.
