In its second batch recruitment exercise, Ondo Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu ordered major recruitment into the State Security Network known as the Amotekun Corps.

Akeredolu was the first in the South West area to introduce the Amotekun Corps last year to assist in fighting criminal elements in the state.
