Job Title: Financial Reporting and Tax Accountant

Principal Responsibilities
Operational and Technical Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the preparation of the Company’s annual accounts

  • Manage the manufacturing of the annual funds and forecasts
  • Prepare tax funds Estimate and monitor tax returns Complete quarterly and annual tax reviews
  • Organize and replace the corporate’s tax database and forecast tax predictions to senior managers
  • Recommend tax methods that align with enterprise targets and put together needed paperwork for tax funds and returns
  • Share monetary knowledge with the accounting division Identify tax financial savings and recommend methods to extend earnings
  • Follow trade developments and monitor adjustments associated to taxes Liaise with inner and exterior auditors
  • Calculate variances from the funds and report important points to administration
  • Provide an environment friendly administration value report system
  • Develop and doc enterprise processes and accounting insurance policies to keep up and strengthen inner controls
  • Provide monetary analyses for capital investments, pricing selections, and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate the availability of data to exterior auditors for the annual audit

  • Assist with the preparation and completion of all HMRC associated returns (Corporation tax, VAT, others)

Education, Technical Skills, Competences and Working Relationship
Education and Experience:

  • HND or B.Sc. in Accounts, Economics or Business Administration and related skilled {qualifications} e.g. ICAN

Technical Skills:

  • Taxation
  • Strong understanding of FIRS and LIRS reporting ideas
