As a councillor Hon. Chief James Augoye was one of the best brains in Okpe legislative arm, and he affected lives positively in his constituency.
As a Council Chairman in Okpe Local Government Area, his performance was excellent. Up till date, his legacy projects are unbeatable. He did a lot in the area of human capital development and as a matter of facts, he was the only council Chairman that distributed tricycle otherwise known as Keke to the good people of Okpe local government Area. Augoye’s tenure as a Council chairman witnessed prompt payment of salary and area’s to workers.
As an Honourable commissioner for works Delta State. Hon. Chief James Augoye excellent performance was second to none. Augoye brought to bear his wealth of experience in managing the works ministry. His vast knowledge and outstanding efforts earn His Excellency Sen. Dr Arthur Okowa the executive governor of Delta State a Nickname: the Roadmaster. Hon. Chief James Augoye is the first works Commissioner to manage the works ministry for two terms a fit that is rear and uncommon. 2015 till date.
