“All candidates are advised to print slips on time so that they are aware of the location of their examination centres, the date of their scheduled sessions, and the time of the examination ahead of time, especially with the changes in examination schedules this year,” he noted.

“This would guide them in making necessary preparations ahead of time, as the Board frowns on lateness to its examinations, and no excuses will be accepted from any candidates, as a stitch in time saves nine.”

Candidates do not need to go to any CBT centres to print their notification slips because they can do so from any available internet point, whether private or public. Candidates must go to JAMB slip Reprinting Portal https://www.jamb.gov.ng, click on 2022 UTME slip printing, and then enter their registration number to print the slip.

“The slip contains the candidates’ important information, such as their registration number, the examination centre in their chosen examination town, and the expected time to arrive at the centre.”

In a related development, the Board has reaffirmed that all candidates will be checked into the test room using the Biometric Verification Machine (BVM).

According to the Board, this was done to record the candidates’ attendance in accordance with its policy of “no biometric verification, no examination.”

“Candidates should also be aware that no exam will be rescheduled for any reason.” As a result, all applicants are recommended to plan ahead of time and stay close to their examination locations; if possible, they should visit their centres prior to the exam date.

“Candidates should also be aware that the prohibition on prohibited items remains in effect.” As a result, candidates should be cautious not to break the law, as violators of the code of conduct will face severe penalties.

The list of prohibited objects in the examination hall includes, but is not limited to, flash drives, smart watches, calculators, recorders, mobile phones, spy reading glasses, and jewelery, among other things, according to the statement.
