Edo, a Stop-VAWIP ambassador, urged political parties and their supporters to avoid violence before, during, and after the election on June 18. She urged party candidates to speak out against hate speech, provocative campaigning, electoral violence, vote-buying, and other sorts of violence, arguing that elections should not be a life or death situation.

“The first time I saw you, I genuinely didn’t like you,” the host wrote. But now I see your point of view. ‘I dey your corner,’ Ini said when her lounge first opened.
