Kano state Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has received the rerun election with 45,876 votes.

Declaring the outcome on Sunday, the state INEC Returning Officer, Professor B. B Shehu mentioned Ganduje of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 45,876 votes whereas Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 10,239 votes.

Prof Shehu mentioned 28 native governments have been affected by the rerun ballot with a complete registered voters of 131,073.

He mentioned out of the figures solely 57,777 voters have been accredited, including that the entire legitimate votes through the rerun ballot stood at 56,407, rejected votes 1,100 and votes solid 57,507.
