Owerri On Fire As Unknown Gunmen Set Imo Commissioner, LG Chairman Houses on Fire.
Unknown Gunmen reportedly set ablaze the homes of Imo State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Declan Mbadiwe Emelumba, and the Orlu West Local Government Area (LGA) Chairman on Sunday, continuing the orgy of violence in the state.

The tragedy, which occurred at 1 a.m. on Sunday, completely damaged the Commissioner’s home. The incident was corroborated by Chief Emelumba, who said the gunmen knocked down his fence and set fire to his residence.

It is unclear whether the attackers are the same unknown gunmen that shot randomly in different locations of Owerri on Sunday morning.
