Imam of peace has blasted President Buhari over the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu.
Muslim influencer and reformist Imam, Mohammad Tawhidi, popularly known as Imam of Peace, has called out president Muhammadu Buhari over the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB).
While sharing a cartoon of Nnamdi Kanu in detention, the Buhari critic slammed the president for releasing terrorists while imprisoning political opponents and freedom fighters.

“Buhari’s policy: terrorists are free, political opposition are behind bars”, Imam of peace tweeted.
Last week, Buhari dismissed the possibility of a political solution to Kanu’s release. He had previously told a delegation of Igbo leaders that he would investigate Kanu’s case.

Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been detained for weeks following his re-arrest in Kenya, a situation that has heightened tensions in the region.
He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow, Tuesday, where his lawyers will make additional bail arguments.
