Galadima, who appeared on the show on Friday, said that the Minister’s situation “is a simple example of opportunist Nigerians who talk to the gallery just to get into a role.”

“It is opportunism on both sides for these clergymen to play to the gallery because they want to attract attention,” he said. He did it at one point in time, and now he’s reaping the benefits because he’s been noticed and granted an appointment. It’s critical that he face his own music now that his past has been so bad.”

“Pantami has already confessed his crime,” he added. But there’s no need to look into it because he’s already confessed and apologised. I’m not sure if the apology is sufficient to exonerate him.”

Galadima chastised the Federal Government for defending Pantami despite his claims that he had apologised for his previous statements.

“Let the federal government today release Jolly Nyame and Chief Dariye of Plateau State if someone commits an offence, apologises, and is set free,” he said. They have been jailed despite having remorse in court. Why is it that the federal government is unable to release them? Or those who are being interrogated for robbery, they should be let off the hook if they apologise.”
