According to a statement made by CSP Michael Abattam, the state Commissioner of Police’s media adviser, the incident occurred on June 25 during a raid on the ESN’s camp. He claimed that enormous sums of money were provided to the deceased in exchange for promises of invisibility for the secessionists and police troop decimation.
“They shot him, devastated his remains, removed the head, and set fire to his corpse and home for the ineffectiveness of the charms he had provided the group over time and the massive failure to shield them from police bullets.”
