The Transition of Olu of Warri Ogiame Ikenwoli has been announced by the House of Representatives.
Ereyitomi joins colleagues to observe minute silence honour
In a letter sent in by the Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, read by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajiabiamila at the floor during plenary on Wednesday April 21, 2021, the Nigerian House of Representatives announced the transition of the Olu of Warri Ogiame Ikenwoli “The death of His Majesty, Ogiame Ikenwoli, the Olu of Warri Kingdom, has been announced.
“His Majesty, who ascended the throne of His Forefathers on December 12, 2015, had a brief but notable reign dedicated to the peace and development of the people of Warri Kingdom, Delta State, and Nigeria as a whole.
“Everyone will recall His Majesty’s wise leadership, loyalty, and graciousness forever.”
Chief Ereyitomi joined his colleagues in observing a minute of silence in honour of Ogiame Ikenwoli, the revered Olu of Warri.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the transfer of the 20th Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli, to the 21st Olu of Warri, Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi, who is serving on several strategic committees and committees preparing for the crowning of a new King in Warri Kingdom, who will be the 21st Olu of Warri.
As the Warri Kingdom embarks on the series of activities planned, Rep Ereyitomi is poised to ensure a fruitful outcome.
