Despite the fact that the striker has been suspended by the club as a result of a police investigation, Manchester United has included English international Mason Greenwood in their official squad submitted to the Premier League.

Greenwood was named to the club’s list of Under-21 players who will be eligible to play in the league this season.


According to the Mirror UK, his inclusion in the squad represents no change in his situation.

Greenwood, 20, has been on paid leave since being arrested in late January on suspicion of rape, assault, and a threat to kill.

Mason Greenwood is still on bail while Greater Manchester Police conduct their investigation.

Greenwood has not been named to United’s Europa League squad.

Greenwood made his senior debut for United in March 2019 and has since appeared in 129 games, scoring 35 goals.

He last appeared for the club on January 22, when he faced West Ham in the Premier League..

Ortega Moreno, Carson, Dias, Phillips, Alvarez, Bernardo, Gomez, Foden, Palmer, Lewis, Wilson-Esbrand are the substitutes.

Erling Haaland Joins Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund


Borussia Dortmund makes three changes following their 3-0 loss to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

Giovanni Reyna, Mats Hummels, and Emre Can replace Nico Schlotterbeck, Julian Brandt, and Marius Wolf, respectively.

Jude Bellingham retains his spot on the team.

Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic says the club is looking forward to reuniting with striker Erling Haaland, who left for Manchester City this summer.

“Of course, we’re thrilled to see him again. “We’re very pleased with what he did on and off the field and wish him the best,” Terzic said.

Borussia Dortmund are looking for their first Champions League away win against an English team since October 2013, when they defeated Arsenal 2-1.
