Let me express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for your congratulations and the numerous calls you made in support of my appointment as the RAMFC Secretary.

“I am truly humbled by this display of love, but I regret to inform you that I declined the position because it is best suited for job seekers, retired civil servants, or anyone who loves their work, and secondly, because I am confident that, at my age and level of experience, there is no question that I know what I want out of life.

As far as I’m concerned, the position is still open, so if you’re interested, please don’t hesitate to contact our unflappable Governor to take the necessary action. Gratitude and blessings.

Austin withdrew from the race to succeed Governor Umahi after becoming the APC’s senatorial candidate for Ebonyi South.

Governor Umahi was forced to file a lawsuit against INEC after the commission rejected his candidacy.

The court did agree that INEC was correct to refuse to publish his name as the party’s candidate because the second primary he won did not adhere to the electoral act’s requirements.

The court has mandated a new primary election Within 14 days.
