The All Progressives Congress (APC) has held primary elections for governorships in a number of Nigerian states.

Ejes Gist Newspaper reports that the elected candidates will face off against candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other opposition parties.
Some first-term governors will be hoping for re-election, while others will work to remove PDP governors.
