The race for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket in 2023 widened on Sunday with the entry of Dimeji Bankole, a former speaker of the House of Representatives, who declared his intention to be the ruling party’s flagbearer.

The APC made headlines and sparked debate after it set prices for its presidential expression of interest and nomination forms at N30 million and N70 million, respectively (N100 million total price).

Around twenty aspirants had purchased the form as of the publication of this report.

About 20 aspirants have obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential form as the Tuesday deadline approaches.

The number will rise as more people express interest in filling out the form.

11. Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation

12.  Ken Nnamani, Former Senate President

13.  Chris Ngige, Minister of Labour and Productivity
