Why Justice Tanko Muhammad Resigned As CJN Emerges
The Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Muhammad, has resigned so that he can focus on his health.
This was confirmed by his media assistant, Ahuraka Yusuf Isah, in a succinct statement.

Despite Isah’s earlier denial of knowledge of the development, he stated that President Muhammadu Buhari would administer the oath of office to Justice Olukayode Ariwoola later on Monday.
justice Muhammad entered his office earlier today without the usual security detail or car convoy.
An official reported that he arrived for a short while before leaving and not come back since.

Today’s National Judicial Institute (NJI) training workshop for judges was also missing Justice Muhammad, who was supposed to declare it open.
