Ejes Gist Newspaper reports that the PDP governors assured their followers that they remain a steadfast party .
We have met together for the first time since the PDP primaries, Prof. J. Gana stated in a brief statement.

We want to reaffirm that we are a strong group after having an open discussion about the situation.
“We also want to assure the country that we will inform our citizens as events develop. This is a brief statement made on our group’s behalf.
“We are extremely happy to have had this discussion to exchange ideas and review the situation.
We are aware that developments will take place, and as they do, we will accurately and honestly inform the country.”

Former governor Olusegun Mimiko, professor Jerry Gana, governor Seyi Makinde, senator Philip Adudua, governor Samuel Ortom, governor Okezie Ikpeazu, governor Ifeanyi Ugwanyi, and former governor Donald Duke were present at the meeting.
Additionally present were former PDP Deputy National Vice Chairman Senator Nazif, former Governors Jonah Jang, Dankwambo, and Adoki, as well as other chieftains.
