Fulani herdsmen have Killed over 26 Benue farmers in Tor-Damisa

At least 26 farmers have been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Tor-Damisa village, Donga Local Government Council.

Tor-Damisa is dominated by Benue State’s Tiv-speaking people.

According to reports, the attackers set fire to over 100 homes.

The majority of the victims were women and children, according to reports.

Zaki Ugondo Uma, the community’s village chief, confirmed the attack and said they have recovered 26 bodies so far.

Tor-Damisa is currently a ghost town, with residents fleeing to nearby villages and local governments.
